About Us

Rob Kipness, an attorney and real estate consultant is the "Head" farmer at our home. His desire to farm stemmed from a love of animals and a strong interest in creating a mini homestead.  It has now been over seven years of backyard farming.  Elise Hart Kipness, a former sports reporter, is working on her first novel. She also shares a love for farm life, but “from a distance.”   The teenage boys have embraced farm life wholeheartedly.  They help feed the animals when they can and collect eggs from the coops. Both boys are excellent tour guides!
